Results of the annual glaciological survey (2020) conducted on Italian glaciers are here presented. About 150 volunteers operated last year in the three Alpine sectors (Piemonte - Valle d’Aosta, Lombardy and Triveneto) and in the Apennines (Calderone Glacier, Gran Sasso Group). Ninety-eight glaciers were observed in the Piemonte - Valle d’Aosta Sector (forty-five of which were measured). Twenty-three and fourty-seven glaciers were visited in the Lombardy Sector and in the Triveneto Sector, respectively (eighteen and fourty of which were measured, respectively). The section on mass balance measurements supplies data for twenty Italian glaciers monitored during the 2019-20 hydrological year (three in the Western Alps, sixteen in the Eastern Alps and one in the Central Apennines).
