The paper presents considerations regarding the information management and the distributed hydrological modelling for hydroelectric productivity evaluation of snow cover and glacier mass variations, using a G.I.S. (Geographical Information System). Results of practical application to two test cases enable to foresee interesting applications for sensitivity analyses of the response of hydrological basins to possible human climate impacts.
