Abstract

Fluvio-lacustrine deposits intercalated in Mid-Upper Pleistocene alluvium are observed in many basins of the Southern- Central Marche. Their genesis is ascribed to temporary barrages caused by the joint effect of tectonic and gravitational phenomena.
