Abstract

Confronted with the problem of geomorphological heritage evaluation for applied research, the authors have developed an evaluation process based on the principles of systemic approach and multicriteria analysis in the context of their research project. They establish several procedures in order to standardize both the observation and the evaluation of geomorphological heritage. In so doing, they strive for more strictness, yet wish to maintain considerable maneuverability. Lastly, the authors test the method in a concrete case: sinkhole evaluation at the Froidevaux site in the Swiss Jura Mountains.
