A 14C age determination of a Holoce deposit in the lower Valfurva (Rhaetian Alps)

A wood sample has been found at Canareglia (in the Lower Valfurva) at 1 550 m, in a layer of clay, which was part of a slope deposit. Its age, which was determined using the 14C method, appeared to be 3 320÷ 100 B P.
