Recent mouvements in the Karst of Trieste (Italy) suggest by stalagmites axis analysis

The axis deviation from vertically of stalagmites in the Grotta Gigante (Trieste - Italy) and the structural study of karstic area nearby the cave suggest Olocenic mouvements in the Karst of Trieste. This mouvements appear to consist of basculages with axis directed E-W, NE-SW and NW-SE accompanied by a upcast of « areal member » higher southward than northward.
