After more than half a century from the synthesis made by Federico SACCO (1941) upon the knowledge referring to the Pleistocene glaciation in the Apennines, a bibliographic review is presented about the researches carried out, on the some subject, during the last fifty years. The review, developped in regional sections, shows only the researches referring to the glacial traces and sediments and glacial morphology, not considering the periglacial phenomena.
