Chrono-bio-stratigraphic interpretation of Pleistocene deposits of the Grotta del Broion cave (Vicenza)

The chrono-bio-stratigraphic reconstruction of the Pleistocene deposit of the Broion Cave (Colli Berici, Vicenza, Italy) is reported. This interpretation is based upon paleoclimatic and paleoecological considerations deduced from sedimentological, stratigraphic and faunal data. The series in question dates from the late Riss to the late Würmian glacial period. Although a stratigraphic gap is present, this series is one of the most complete in Northern Italy.
